Front Porch Sundays - June Highlights

porchsunday

The best Sundays are spent lounging around on the porch in a rocking chair with fresh lemonade or iced tea, just spending a lazy, relaxed day with favorite people.

Of course, I don't have a rocking chair.  Or even a porch.  And I sure as a devil in London don't make homemade lemonade.  So until I morph into my grandmother, I'm lucky to have Front Porch Sundays to enjoy.

And I'd like to introduce you to a few of my favorite people there!  This list is not exhaustive by any means, but we've got to start somewhere, so here we go.

First of all,

Haleigh Thompson runs Vidalia Vogue with the idea of reusing materials to create beautiful pieces of jewelry.  Her stand design is nearly as beautiful as her jewelry.  Feel free to stop by and talk to her anytime - she's as friendly as she looks in this picture ; ).

I was told this Ghost Pepper Whipped Honey has won some awards.  I wish I had been able to pay better attention to which awards, but I was too busy falling in love with this flavor.

Cloister Honey is locally sourced and honestly delicious.  Truthfully, after coming home with traditional raw honey, whipped honey with cinnamon, and whipped honey with lavender, I have thought longingly about the possibilities with this Ghost Pepper Honey.  I mean, it was good.

Luckily, I don't have to wait until next Front Porch Sunday (which I believe is in August because of the 4th of July break they take).  Cloister Honey is also sold at some local vendors and we don't even have to leave Southend.  I'll be heading over to either the Queen City Pantry in the Atherton Market or to Savory Spice today to rectify my situation.

If Welcome to Southend sends you a card, chances are it's from My Little Design Company.  Kristina found her passion for making cards while designing the paper products for her own wedding and hasn't looked back since.  Her cards are beautiful, whimsical, and classical all at once.  If you need a thank you card, birthday card, wedding invitation, or a just because card, I definitely recommend you check out My Little Design Company.

Steph has always been creative and I know many people who have been thrilled that her dream is to help anyone and everyone be creative, too.  Steph has a variety of beautifully packaged crafts from her company The Crowned Sparrow.  You buy a box or bag and all your needed materials are included with instructions.  They make adorable and memorable gifts, too!

Stacey, keeping us safe and beautiful at the same time.

Stacey and I can't be the only ones who prefer to use all-natural products free of toxic fillers, parabens, phthalates, sulfates, petrochemicals, silicones, preservatives, artificial fragrances and dyes.  See!  I didn't think so!

So Stacey created Pure Stella Skincare to meet our needs.  Pure Stella's products use botanical and essential oils to cleanse, moisturize, exfoliate, and enlighten.  We love our Bug Off Sticks.  They're small enough to slip into a purse or pocket and really work.

I would totally hang out in Lindsay's Loft.

I would totally hang out in Lindsay's Loft.

Lindsay's Loft makes these beautiful and fun decorations and her husband makes those enviable "leaning shelves."  Any one of the decorations Lindsay makes would be an eye-catching addition to your room, but if you or a friend has a child (or a beloved pet), I would highly recommend looking at this:

Isn't this cozy and inviting?  I might try to sleep in here myself.

Lindsay's Loft doesn't have an online presence yet, but you can find them at the next Front Porch Sunday or email me and I'll send you contact information!

See, we're all friends here.
